“We have just returned from a wonderful holiday to Nairn taking 26 people in the new Jumbulance. A happy week in a delightful, accessible and friendly hotel, with good company, evening entertainment and lovely days out.”
Christine Chisholm, Group organiser, Hampshire & West Berkshire Group, 25th September 2018.
On our days out included a safari at the Highland Wildlife Zoo , a retreat day at Pluscarden Abbey and a visit to Ballindalloch Castle. We were able to spend quiet time Nairn walking along the seafront to the harbour with further choices to go to the Culloden Battlefield with its very interesting visitor centre as well as shopping at Brodies country fare. Our last day saw us tour the whiskey distillery at Glen Moray near Elgin. We experienced blue skies and amazing scenery as we drove through the Scottish highlands avoiding the storms and hurricanes that befell the south and the wheelchair waterproofs came out only once!
A great time was had by all who travelled on the Jumbulance and many thanks to Christine Chisholm, our drivers and carers who helped make this trip possible.
