What we do

The Jumbulance Trust is a small, national charity which “Makes Accessible Travel Possible” for disabled and other disadvantaged individuals with life-limiting conditions enabling them to take part in accessible, disabled coach holidays or pilgrimages across the UK and Europe.

The Trust provides the vehicles and drivers at subsidised rates to regional groups, schools, disabled community groups, care homes and hospices around the UK and Ireland.

The groups who organise the holidays and pilgrimages are made up of volunteer carers and where possible Nurses and Doctors offer medical assistance.

Who can travel with the Jumbulance Trust?

The people who travel with us have a range of life limiting conditions such as heart disease, neurological disorder, cancer, arthritis, birth defects and learning difficulties.

The specialist medical equipment on the Jumbulance ensures they can travel safely and in comfort. Many of our travellers hear about us through their local community; some live at home while others come from care homes and hospices.

Those in need can travel with family members or with the assistance of our volunteer carers who offer respite to families.

Where does the Jumbulance Trust travel to?

Our Jumbulance vehicles and drivers accompany groups on trips to destinations all over the UK and into Europe.

Over the years, we have built up close relationships with accommodation and activity providers in many locations who can offer your group a true holiday to remember.

Inspirational community spirit

We are constantly looking for ways to increase social inclusion for our clients, improve their quality of life, self-confidence and sense of achievement.
